Bye Lolo Dennis & Easter Sunday

Thomas wakes up and looks for Lolo Dennis.  Dan explains that he went home to BUF.  Thomas "Can we go to Uffalo?"

Had Easter Egg hunting with the cousins at Narra. John got all the premium eggs (thanks to Lola) and shared his excess with Kuya Thomas and Ate Gabby. :)  Afterwards, had a 2nd Easter Egg Hunt with the SE kiddies at the Ruste house.  Lots of fun & too much sugar!

Tali Beach with Lolo Dennis

We all went to Tali with Lolo Dennis, Lolo Lito & Lola Nits.  Was a wonderful relaxing trip.  Thomas, Lolo & Papa went to the beach everyday and played all morning.  John was terrific and relaxed at home with Mama.

Today was the 1st time John cooed :)  Adorable!

We heard Mass with Papa Wolbert at 11am & then had a nice quiet lunch at Narra with Lolo/Lola and Tito Manu.  Thomas was overly excited about all his new books & toys... especially the stamps!  Big jet and red train. :)

Papa Dennis arrives in MNL!

Welcome to MNL, Papa Dennis!  We are so happy he's visiting - all 4 of us couldn't wait to see him at the airport.  So many goodies too!

Today was also my 1st project for Wolber's sweets and treats making the giveaway for Arvi's and Steve's wedding.  Was a great learning experience - lots of fun & sleepless nights!  Also learned to save some for the bride & groom and their families because the Filipinos finished everything (and even stole the groom's cookie!) right after the Mass.

Friday family time in CPK

Have made it our usual Friday night family date to go to Town for dinner at CPK and then take T to the carousel :D

He had a great time at swim class again and so we went shopping afterwards for some dive toys to play with Grandpa when he arrives.

1st meeting with EWB

Dan had his 1st meeting with the banks... starting with EWB.  So far, so good!  Better than he hoped. :D

In the afternoon, we had our Arts & Crafts SE mommas playdate.  Dan joined and Thomas made a piggybank + painting using wet japanese paper.

John's US passport

Baby J officially has a US passport today!  Thankfully, it was a breeze going through the process. 

In the afternoon, we had T's swim class and he did amazingly well diving underwater :D  He's now swimming from the middle of the pool until the wall all by himself!

Arts & Crafts playdate

T had a blast at his A&C playdate.  He made 3 paintings with the help of Tita Krissy :)

Very interesting to watch him "make friends" with the other boys - particularly Cathy's & Mia's sons.  I'm sure soon enough he will learn how to share better.

T's last day of class

"See you later!"

Thomas is getting much better at speaking sentences.  He now initiates & says "bye (name). See you later!" to his classmates at dismissal.

He's also getting somewhat gentler at handling John.

3 year anniversary -- T's bites -- J smile

Dan & I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary by a family lunch in the club and then a dinner date at Aubergine & dessert at ... PINKBERRY!  Already (or only) 3 years and still feels like honeymoon stage plus 2 kids.  haha!

 

Our poor little Thomas woke up with bites on his eye. :(  Not sure what bit him.  Sigh.

On the other hand, baby John showed his first smile today :)

Gruffalo

Trekked to Rockwell to see the Grufallo presented by London West End.  Very cute play with great representation of the animals in the forest.  Thomas was entertained the entire time. :)

T at art class

Thomas had his 1st hand at art by finger painting & watercoloring.  He was very well behaved and seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Happy V day

Thomas made mama & papa a valentine's card on a stick (which was dilapidated by the time we got home from school).  He also practiced changing diapers on John's sleeping sheep.

I also accidentally caught Dan buying me roses in Town.  He was so embarrassed, it was the cutest & sweetest thing I've seen. =..)

We had a nice dinner with Lolo, Lola, Chris & kids, Len & Alex.  Always so nice to spend time with the family.

Fun farm -- Ash Wednesday

Dan & Thomas went to the Sta Elena Fun Farm.  Thomas rode the horse 2x, fed the chickens & rabbits, rode the carabao cart & climbed all the way to the top on the playground.  His teachers said he was the most adventurous climbing ... surprising coz he's the youngest in class. :)
