Happy 2013!

Burned some good energy swimming with Papa at the club and then welcomed the new year at Palms :)

Little sweetheart

T was much more adventurous in the water - he would run through the water by himself and begged Papa to go farther than the border.

I put T to bed this time - put away the iPad (success again), read 3 books and then cuddled to sleep. T kept putting his hands around my face saying "I love you". :.)

Big boy T

T was much more comfortable in the beach. He played for hours in the sand with the little rabbit, alligator & crab toys. Also didn't seem to mind the salt water.

Potty training day 2 - By the end of the day, T asked if he could pee in the potty.  Definitely not his 1st time to do that but still felt like success! :)

For his bedtime routine, Dan asked T to turn off the iPad so they could read a book.  T said "off" and put the iPad away.  Mama was very impressed with both Papa & T!

Day 1 potty training: 1^st hour: 3 pees + 1 poop in underwear. 0 in potty.

Simbang gabi

Dan & I completed the simbang gabi novena tradition this year.  It's always been beautiful to me but more so praying together with my hubby :.)

Subic

Had a blast swimming with Papa in the Kamana pool and playing with Hannah, Pio & Clarice.

1st ring bearer gig

Thomas was the ring bearer for the 1st time at Celle & Chief's beautiful wedding at Subic. To our surprise, T walked down the aisle (swinging the pillow).  Good thing the rings were with the best man. ;)

Week 34 & growing strong

34th week check-up went very well - heartbeat strong, kicks strong.  Baby boy's head is down but still a lot of time until he comes down.

T pooped in the potty for the 2nd time!  Woot woot!

Animal show & the big slide

Thomas had a big day today - he patted the guinea pigs, parrots & rabbit at Nicholas's party and then had a great time with Papa at Active Fun.  Went down the giant slide 3x ... 3rd one all on his own leaving Papa behind him in the dust.

Bambino performance & 1st poopoo in the potty

T arrived 30 seconds before the Bambino performance holding his half-eaten graham cracker.  Teachers Bel & Marijo rushed to include him on the stage before the curtains opened. Tada! Thomas stood in the middle holding his graham staring at the audience (though admittedly 3/4 of his class was just standing/staring as well).

Tonight, T also poopooed in the potty for the 1st time!!!

Watched Azkals vs Singapore - great game!  Then had an adventure while walking back to the car when Luis's balloons were snatched by the street kids :D

Dan debated watching Azkals versus Elton John - we'll have to see Elton John another time :(

T with guava cousins

T stayed at Guava while Dan & I went to Celle's & Chief's wedding shower dinner.  Thomas always has a great time at Guava - whether it's playing with his cousins, playing with the trains, or chasing the cat or dog. :)

Finally Dan braved the bazaar - only because it was already 8pm (nice cool weather) and it was closing at 9pm.

Finally Mama had the guts to really LEAVE school while T is in class.  Officially doing drop off & pick-ups only.  So far, so good.

The Bambinos had a field trip on the jeepney to visit St. James and then have a picnic at a classmate's house.  Jeep - beep, beep!

T's 1st time to pick a flower for Mama... now it is immortalized here.  Haha! :)

Class without Mama

T did perfectly fine in class without me sitting in the room with him.  Just after 2 days.  Sniff, sniff!

1st day of preschool

T has officially started his 1st day of preschool!

United Tri

Papa Dan completed his 2nd triathlon together with Paco, Chris, Kat, Miggy & Mig's friend Raf.  Congratulations! :)

It was also Thomas's 2nd birthday - Happy birthday T!  Happy to have crossed the finish line with Papa Dan before conking out for his nap.

Hello Manila

Arrived safe & sound in Manila :)
Unlike the past 5 years, we have no planned travels scheduled in the next 9 months.  Woot woot!

Goodbye SF

Packed all our things into 39 balikbayan boxes and shipped them across the world. Me off to India for a work trip and Dan & Thomas headed to Buffalo.

Welcome to SF, Zubirans!

Had a wonderful 4 nights with Margie, Carlos & Carlitos who visited us in SF!  Went shopping, shopping, shopping.  Also went to Sausalito, BADM and Predisio Park.
